🦊 Road Notes: One Weekend Down, One More to Go ⚔️🎲
And just like that, our first weekend at Viking Fest Minnesota is officially wrapped up!
We’re all settled into our KOA campsite for the week, and honestly, I’m ready to do absolutely nothing for a couple of days. 😂 Between festival life, chasing a toddler, and everything else that comes with living on the road, this mama is TIRED.
We’re taking the next couple of days to relax, reset, and recharge before heading back for the final festival weekend of our season.
Sunday’s crowd was on the smaller side, but hopefully next weekend brings a bigger turnout!
Bug had a pretty good day, though. His Auntie Melissa gave him his very first D20 die! 🎲 Looks like we might have a little adventurer in the making. I also picked him up a jasper stone bracelet and a stone necklace of his very own.
Of course, he got to play with his little festival friends again, too. Watching him make friends and interact with other kids has been such a joy. He’s also been practicing his walking skills, and I swear this little dude is about to skip straight past walking and start running. 😂
Bug, buddy… can we slow down just a little? Mama’s knees and energy levels are trying to keep up!
For now, we’re parked, the camper is settled, and we have a couple of days to breathe before the final festival weekend of the season.
It might be a short update, but not every chapter needs to be a whole adventure. Sometimes a few quiet days, a little rest, and watching your little one grow are stories worth keeping, too.
There’s plenty more to come, so stay tuned!
Until the next mile, keep the fire lit and the road calling. 🧡
