Foxfire & Freeways: BBQ & Full Bellies

Another good day today—nothing too wild, just good food and good company.

We spent the day at my parents’ place for a proper southern BBQ, and let me tell you… we did not go hungry.

Chicken, Texas Twinkies, hot links, bratwursts, ham tips, corn on the cob… plus homemade tater salad and baked beans with bacon.

Safe to say we were all very full.

At some point my brother showed up with drinks that looked innocent enough… but were basically a 42oz cherry slushee with a shot of tequila 😅

Good? Yes.
Way too sweet? Also yes.

Now we’re back, completely wiped out.

I’d love to sleep in tomorrow… but let’s be real—lil man has other plans and runs this schedule now.

We’ll be heading back out Sunday, so I’ll check back in then with another update for my fine readers…
