Foxfire and Freeways: Into the trenches with an army of Ladybugs

Made it safely to Texas a little while ago and have mostly just been settling into the camper.

Biggest challenge right now?

Getting lil man to go to sleep.

Every night lately has turned into about a 2-hour battle.

He was fighting it about an hour before we reached our destination, but we tried to keep him awake thinking it would make bedtime easier…

yeah, that backfired 😅

Now he’s wide awake.

I know it’s all the changes—new places, new routine, constant movement—but we’re trying to get some kind of semi-predictable rhythm going.

So I figured I’d ask—

anyone have tips for helping a baby adjust to sleep while traveling?

Because right now… we are in the trenches with an army of Ladybugs 😂

Daddy working on getting ‘Bug’ to sleep-it’s my nickname for him as my grandma always called me her lil ladybug and I had one land on me at the beginning of my pregnancy and then again last December and I always took it as a sign for her since her passing bc I woke up to a ladybug on my pillow
