Foxfire & Freeways: Sunrises & Dirty Truck Windows

Foxfire & Freeways: Sunrises & Dirty Truck Windows

Day three.

Somewhere between early morning light and miles of road ahead, we caught the sunrise through a very dirty truck window.

Not exactly a picture-perfect view… but honestly, it didn’t matter.

There’s something about being on the road this early—when everything feels quiet, a little slower, like the day hasn’t fully started yet.

Just the sound of the road, the sky starting to change, and that feeling of moving forward.

It’s not glamorous.

It’s not polished.

It’s dirty windows, tired eyes, and a truck full of everything we own.

But it’s also kind of peaceful.

We’re getting closer to Ohio.

Closer to whatever comes next.

And somewhere between the chaos of the first day and the calm of today, it’s starting to feel real in a different way.

Not overwhelming.

Just… happening.

Sunrises and dirty windows.

I think I’ll remember this part.
